Fasted Workouts? NOT SO FAST.

Does a fasted workout result in ~gainz~?

In short, no. You tend to dip into your body’s glycogen stores and while this may lead to ~marginally~ more lipid utilization — cool no one cares — practically, it’s not anything we ever recommend.

Because – fasted workouts are less intense / you have less stamina / endurance / like me- you’re more likely to feel faint as a goat 🐐. You’re also more likely to overeat after since you might feel deprived.

If your morning movement session is early and you’re too nauseous to eat… that’s valid. You can literally have a half a banana or some fruit just to give you the glucose you need to fuel some quick acting carbohydrate and you BETTER have a real butterfly breakfast thereafter.
