Caramelized Walnut French Toast

Pour 1 cup walnuts into a skillet (no oils needed!)

Toss for 5 minutes — oils will exude

THEN add 2 TBSP maple syrup and some cinnamon; stir around for a couple minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.

Whisk 2 organic eggs, 1 cup grass-fed milk, 2 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp vanilla extract, and 1 tsp cinnamon together. Heat a pan with some avocado oil. Dip 4 slices bread (local, sourdough/wheat or Ezekiel or Mestemacher Fitness) in batter and let soak for two minutes. Cook on each side ~2-3 minutes. Top with walnuts, sliced banana, berries, cacao nibs.
